Melville, N.Y., May 26, 1995, - FONAR Corporation (symbol FONR), a leading manufacturer of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems, reported today that the jury has rendered a verdict awarding $110,575,000 to FONAR for damages for the infringement of its patented MRI technology. The award was for the Company's multi-angle-oblique and cancer detection patents. FONAR is represented by Ronald J. Schutz and Martin R. Lueck of the Minneapolis Law Firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi.
