FONAR Announces Installation of Upright MRI to Re-peat Customer in Florida; Sarasota Facility is Third Rose Radiology Center to Utilize FONAR Upright MRI Technology

          MELVILLE, NEW YORK, December 21, 2004 - FONAR Corporation (NASDAQ-FONR), The MRI Specialist™, today announced the installation of its Upright™ MRI at Rose Radiology - Sarasota. This center is the third Rose Radiology facility in Florida to utilize the FONAR technology. Rose Radiology - Sarasota is located at 4917 Clark Road. The new center opened on September 7, 2004.
